Short answer — yes, it's possible in some cases, but it depends on the branch and year.

Some seats through 12th PCM merit (board marks category)
If your PCM percentage is strong (usually 90%+ for safer side), you can compete in the board merit category. But for top branches like CSE/COE, it's still very competitive even through boards.
So yes, you can apply without JEE — but your 12th marks need to be good.

Candidates have to register for NCET exam to get admission in BTech programs of STME/MPSTME NMIMS. The registration fee of INR 2000 for NCET is non-refundable and non-transferable. So it will not be refunded to you even if you do not appear for the NCET exam.

As you know, there is no slot booking for both these exams. COMEDK 2026 was conducted on May 9th in three shifts. The TS EAMCET exam was scheduled from May 9 to 11. In case of a clash you can send an email to the TG EAPCET authorities and ask for a revision of your TS EAMCET exam dates. This way, you can give both exams.

While all preparation tips may sound repetitive, there are some that really produce results and are effective in gaining good scores for the PTE. The most effective tricks that work in scoring 70+ marks in PTE (or any other exam) are -
- Start preparing with the PTE Official Guide first. Try to understand the exam format, scoring and question types first.
