 No, there is no entrance exam required for the selection of candidates for MBA at Parul University. In order to get admission to Parul University, students are evaluated based on their scores in the last qualifying exam. Candidates who passed graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for this course. The university will select eligible candidates as per their merit scores obtained in the final examination of the last UG course. It completely depends upon a student's choice to appear for the entrance exam. GRE scores are not required for students with an undergraduate degree from an ABET-accredited degree program. However, students whose colleges are accredited degree programs must give the GRE. The following minimum scores are required to be considered for admission into the MS Software Engineering program: 

• Quantitative + Verbal (GRE Q=V) score = 294 or higher 
• Analytical Writing (GRE AWA) score= of 3.0 or higher 

Below are important notes that the applicants must go through:

• GRE is an important factor for admission evaluation and continues to be a requirement during the pandemic 
• Applications with GRE q+v under 294 will be denied
• Applications with GRE  AWA scores under 3.0 will be Denied 
• A GRE q+v score higher than 294 may be required for successful admission.
• Applicants who have at least five years of professional software development experience following completion of their Undergraduate degree and prior to the opening of admissions for the academic term where the application is being made, applicants can request a GRE test waiver by sending a detailed resume to the admission office.

For IELTS preparation, it is important to learn the exact IELTS test format. MICAT is among the difficult exams conducted for admission to MBA courses. Candidates appearing for MICAT exam get themselvbes involved in the MICA PGP admission process. The selection process by MICA involves the candidates to take CAT/XAT/GMAT exam. Additionally, candidates need to appear for the MICAT exam. MICAT involves three sections, as mentioned below:

A. Psychometric Test

B. Descriptive Test

C. Aptitude Test

MICAT is difficult as it may surprise candidates with an unpredictable structure and sectional time limit. Candidates may find the exam easy based on what they expected from the exam during preparation.

Preparing for MICAT in four months is easy as the preparation for Section C will be done while preparing for CAT/XAT/GMAT. Psychometric test does not have any correct or incorrect options. Additionally, Psychometric Test is a qualifier test. The Descriptive Test would require the candidate to widen the creative thinking and writing speed.

The KMAT exam is held for two hours or 120 minutes. There is only one slot for the KMAT exam. KMAT exam does not have a sectional time limit. This means, that the candidates can solve the question paper with ease without worrying about the sectional timer. However, they must complete the question paper within the overall time limit. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the test will automatically stop. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam at the time as mentioned on their KMAT Karnataka admit card. Candidates must make sure that they setlled on their seats and have logged in at least 15 minutes prior to the exam time. In case, candidates find any technical difficulty in logging in, they will have the time window to get it resolved.
