If anyone misses the  internal exams then the complete information is send to the professors or the director incharges and action is taken according to the department, as the FTCA department, there is no  such strict action taken against this activity and if we take the example of AIHM then their parents are informed about the miss behaviour activities of the student and a proper note is being taken against it.

As a student it is not possible that a student misses his/her examination by means, there's always some reason behind it. If you have missed your mid sems paper then you can give the exam again at any time by having a talk with your HOD. They are supportive enough to help you with this situation. But if you have missed the final semester paper then you will be marked as eligible for back paper in the result and then you will have to give the back paper in the next semester exams for the previously left paper.

Don't worry, if you can't pass the Internal exam, you'll not failed the semester.
Internal Exams (Mid-Semester Exam)Marks are taken into consideration in the final evaluation procedure for VJTI .

Actually, the final evaluation score comprises the results of the midterm, final, and teachers' assessment.
which gives the midterm exam 20% weight, the final exam 60% weight, and the instructor evaluation 20% weight.
