Since the exam is held in different slots, there are chances of the papers being of different difficulty levels. To make sure the students are scored fairly, an equating methodology will be followed. The question papers will be marked while following a standardized method to balance the scores.

While applying for the UPESEAT exam candidates only need a minimum of 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and for PCM subjects of class 12th. However applying for the BTech mathematics and computing programme requires a minimum of 70% marks in class 10th and 12th and 70% marks individually in class 12th PCM subjects.

VIT authorities will release official list of VITEEE 2026 toppers. Top 10 students who have scored highest ranks in examination will be announced as toppers of examination. Performance of candidates will be checked by authorities for ranking.

There is no age limit for the UPESEAT 2026 exam.

The UPESEAT 2026 eligibility criteria is at least 50% in class 10th and 12th and 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12th.

The authority released the UPESEAT 2026 application form on September 12 on the website, upes.ac.in. The UPESEAT 2026 registration last date for phase 2 is extended to April 29.

The authorities prepare VITEEE rank list based on percentile secured in the examination. Also, one must note that there is no option for re-totalling, or re-ranking or re-evaluation.

As per the official notification, there is nothing as such mentioned regarding the old or new SC/ST certificate. However, it is better to upload an updated caste certificate in PDF format. The document must be uploaded at the time of form filling process.

Students will be able to download the VITEEE result in the form of a rank card. Once the result is displayed after logging in, the result can be downloaded as a VITEEE rank card. During the admission process, a print out of the rank card will be required.
