No, there is no negative marking in the GMCET exam 2026. If a candidate marks an incorrect answer, he/she will be awarded 0 marks.

The Global Media Education Council decides the marking scheme for the exam. The GMCET 2026 entrance test will be checked according to the following GMCET marking scheme 2026.

• +1 mark for every correct answer
• 0 marks for every incorrect answer

For BTech Mechanical Engineering via CUET UG, choose Physics, Mathematics, and optionally Chemistry or General Test, depending on the university.
