If a candidate appears for MAT multiple times in an academic year, they can choose which score to submit to colleges. Most institutes meet the best score of the multiple attempts, not necessarily the last attempt. However, every college has their own policy so please refer to the admission policy of every college before applying. MAT scores are valid for one year and candidates can submit whatever score they choose to the respective colleges depending on their situation. Aspirants seeking admission in PGDM programme need to pass entrance test for admission. International School of Business and Media Bangalore considers the scores of the candidates in CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. for admission. However, mere passing the entrance test won't get admission. Aspirants also need to pass other selection rounds like GDPI for admission.

If you applied to BIMTECH through CMAT, you can expect a response between February and March. Shortlisted candidates are usually called for interviews during this time. Final selection results are shared by March or April, and the session starts around June or July. Keep checking your email and BIMTECH's portal for updates.

With a COMEDK rank of 84,000, getting CSE in top colleges is tough. But you can still try for colleges like Atria Institute, RR Institute, AMC Engineering, or East West College in Bangalore. Fill all possible options and keep IT or ECE as backup branches—they're close to CSE and have good scope too.

Yes, you can apply for the CUET PG exam without a PRC. It is not a required document for the exam application. PRC may only be needed later by some universities during admission for claiming a state quota. You can still apply and appear for the exam without it.

The last rank for B.Tech admission via JEE Main for other state SC category varies by college and branch. In NITs, SC students from other states usually get CSE up to 1.5–2 Lacs rank, and lower branches may go up to 5–6 lakh. Check JoSAA's previous year cutoff for exact data.
