Generally, requesting a recheck of the NIFT 2024 results is not an option. The contestant may, however, contest the answer key if they are unsure. Recall that on April 26, 2024, the NIFT answer keys for the GAT paper of the written test were made available. In this instance, the body administering the exam may review the answer key and make any necessary modifications. There won't be an option to double-check the NIFT final findings, though. This could be due to the Situation Test's subjective nature. In addition, there are no perfect answers for the CAT, which means it is open to review.

Getting into any NIFT campus with a CMR of 3559 can be difficult. NIFT is a prestigious engineering institute and admissions are competitive. Places fill up quickly, especially at popular campuses and programs. Although there is no publicly available official data on the exact cut-off, looking at past trends and success stories, admission CMRs usually fall well below 3559. IFT offers some seats especially for non-Indian (NRI) candidates. These positions have separate selection procedures and may be less competitive. While some NIFT campuses are more desirable, others may have slightly lower cut-offs.

When seat assignments and counselling are being given out, the NIFT Delhi 2024 cutoff will be announced. For the PGC and PGC courses that they have offered, the corresponding cutoffs have been divided based on the cadres. For the 18 NIFTs participating in the counselling and seat assignment, the NIFT 2024 score lines will be made available segment-by-segment. For the EWS and OBC-NC Kumpulan, Open, NRI, Open PwD, SC, ST, Dom SC, UR, Dom Open, Dom UR, SC PwD, and ST PwD categories, the reservation cutoff NIFT will be in effect. For ISC, the books prescribed for fashion designing for class 12 is ISC TextBook Of FASHION DESIGNING by BS Sumanthy that will be helpful to study and cover all topics from syllabus prescribed. There is only one college in Chennai that offers B.Ftech. The college is the National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai.

NIFT Chennai offers 4 years of B.FTech. in Apparel Production. There are 43 seats available for the course. 

To be eligible for the course a candidate must pass 10+2 with PCM as mandatory subjects. NIFT entrance exam is necessary. Selection will be based on the entrance exam and PI.

Candidate must have a maximum age of 24 years.

The fee for the course is INR 12.34 Lacs for the whole course.

The allotment of seats will be based on: 

1. Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses)
2. The category of the candidate
3. Seat intake in the college opted for admission
4. NIFT 2026 merit rank of the candidate. 

NIFT 2026 seat allotment process will be conducted in four regular and one spot rounds.

The 1st round of seat allotment will be declared around the 3rd week of June 2026. .

The counseling registration will be conducted in May 2026. 

The NIFD Global Bhubaneswar offers BDes and BVoc courses. Total tuition fee charged for BDes is INR 220,000 and INR 210,000 for BVoc. For an entry-level, the salary starts from INR 3.92 LPA. After having more than 10 years of experience depending upon your skill you can earn INR 30-35 LPA in India. Fashion Designers have lots of opportunities to work in big companies, foriegn countries, etc. 

However, it all depends upon the skill you have, how good you are in designing, and how is your creativity.
