There is theory, but it's always connected to practice. There are subjects like fashion history, textiles, and design theory that support creative work. Theory exams are usually fewer compared to practical evaluations. 

Students usually pursue internships with independent designers, fashion labels, export houses, boutiques,  and styling studios. In the past, students have interned with ZARA, Superdry, Ritu Kumar, Study by Janak, Qbik, etc. These internships give students real exposure to timelines, client expectations, and industry workflows.

NTA will be releasing the NIFT 2026 Question Paper for Stage 1 along with the provisional Answer Key. Candidates will be able to download the question paper by logging into NIFT portal.

• Probable scores can be used by the candidate to assess the chances of admission.

Candidates can use NIFT Answer Key to calculate their score in the NIFT entrance exam. NTA will release the NIFT Question Paper and Answer Key. Candidates can count the number of correct answers based on the marking scheme.
