• The highest Package: The highest package for B.Sc. students at IIFT is INR 12,00,000.
• Average Package: On average, students receive a package of INR 3,50,000.

• For regular entry, candidates should have passed II PUC or 10+2 in Arts, Science, or Commerce.
• If you have completed a 3-Year Diploma in fields such as ADFT, Textiles, Handlooms, or Costume Design & Fashion, you are eligible for Lateral Entry.
• Admissions are based on the fulfillment of eligibility criteria and are first come, first serve subject to seat availability.
• Interested students can either walk in directly to IIFT branches or get information online. They can then fill up the application form and submit it.

The core papers in the Fashion Design & Management specialisation curriculum cover a wide range of topics essential for a career in the fashion industry. These include design fundamentals, fabric studies, fashion styling, illustration, CAD, fashion history and theory, pattern development, marketing, and management. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of both the creative and business aspects of fashion design.

The Fashion Design & Management specialisation goes beyond traditional design education by incorporating elements of fashion communication and management. Students learn about fashion styling, illustration, CAD, marketing, and management, empowering them to pursue diverse career paths such as fashion design, merchandising, styling, and entrepreneurship.

To prepare cut-off for MITID DAT 2026, the below mentioned points will be considered

• Merit rank of the candidate in MITID DAT 2026
• The total number of applications
• The seat intake for the applied program
• Category under which admission is sought

No, you will not be considered if you do not meet MITID criteria. Candidate must meet cutoff criteria in their categories to get admission in MITID DAT 2026. If they fail to meet the cut-off, he or she will not be considered for admission. 

Allotment of seats for MITID DAT 2026 is based on merit rank of candidate in entrance exam. Candidates who have a higher MITID DAT 2026 merit rank will be called first for the first round of seat allotment. Result for seat allotment will be announced on the website.

The MITID DAT 2026 written exam was conducted on April 5, 2026. The question paper inlcuded both subjective and objective questions. The written exam is the 1st stage of the entrance exam and is used to shortlist candidates for a Studio Test & Personal Interview. The final results of MITID DAT is prepared by considering the perfomance of the candidate in the written exam and the Studio Test & Personal Interview. Any candidate who fails to appear in the 2nd stage of the exam will not be included in the merit list.

The last date to fill out the MITID DAT 2026 application form is February 28, 2026.

Candidates have to fill the application form in online mode. When filling out the application form, one has to use genuine and verifiable information. At the time of MITID DAT 2026 counseling, information furnished in the application form will be matched with the original documents. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate may be disqualified.

MITID DAT 2026 application fee for Indian candidates is INR 3000. Candidates belonging to NRI, CIO, PIO, and Foreign national categories need to pay INR 4500.
