NIIFT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT). The design exam is conducted once a year. The candidate needs to appear in the exam as per the schedule released by the institute.

Note that application forms for the exam will be accepted in online mode.

The application fee for NIIFT was INR 1,750 for general candidates and INR 440 for SC/ST/PH candidates. The application fee has to be paid at the time of filling out the application form. Note that if the application fee is not paid, then the application form will be deemed incomplete.

The NIIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in the 1st week of June 2025. The online application form is also currently open and may be filled by candidates following the link given on this page.

Yes, only candidates who qualify the exam were called for the interview. The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology will conduct the exam in the form of a Creative Aptitude in Fashion Test (CAFT).

It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in all the stages of the NIIFT entrance exam. If the candidate fails to do so, he or she will be disqualfied.

The Design Village has an intake of 105 seats. Candidates can choose from courses like B.Des, Graphic Design, Product Design, and Interaction Design.

Admission to all courses will be based on merit rank of the candidate in the TDV entrance exam. Note that higher ranked candidates will be given preference.

Yes, the candidate are recommended to submit their design portfolios at the time of the interview. The portfolio must include your best works and must be represetative of a wide spectrum of works. Note that if you don't upload the portfolio, your candidature will be cancelled.

Yes, the Design Village is conducting mock tests for the TDV 2024 entrance exam. The mock test is available on the TDV admission portal. The mock test is free. Note that the mocks tests are conducted close to the exam.

The purpose of the mock tests is to give the candidate a first-hand experience of the exam-day atmospher, and how to answer questions, types of questions asked, etc.
