IIFT Bareilly admission is done on first come first serve and merit basis for qualified students. To apply for any course, candidates need to visit the college campus and purchase the application form along with the prospectus, and submit the duly filled form at the admission office with other required documents. Aspirants are required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria before applying, find below the eligibility and selection criteria for admission to IIFT Bareilly courses:

Below are the details regarding the eligibility criteria for  BSc in Fashion & Apparel Design:

Eligibility: For 1st Semester – Candidates need to pass Class 12 with a  minimum of 40% aggregate (Arts, Science or Commerce)

For 3rd Semester (Lateral Entry): A 3-year Diploma in ADFT/ Textiles/Handlooms Costume Design & Fashion. 
Duration: A 3 years for Regular students / 2 years for Lateral entry

• The institute was awarded as the top institute offering Best Fashion Design courses in India by Asia Today. The award was presented by the Honorable Governor of Karnataka Mr. Thawar Chand Gehlot.

ITM IDM offers four-year BDes in Fashion Design. The curriculum of BDes Fashion Design is divided into eight semesters. Find below some of the subjects taught in ITM IDM BDes Fashion Design:

• Design Foundation
• Introduction to Digital Design
• Building Communication and Critical Skills
• Basics of Fashion Design
• Art History and Appreciation, etc.

The NTA will release the NIFT 2026 question paper for the written exam along with the answer key. The question paper will be made available before the declaration of exam results.

The candidate had to download the NIFT question paper 2026 from the NTA NIFT admission portal.

To download the question paper, log in to the portal using your candidate credentials. Note that the NTA also released the recorded responses. So, the candidate can use the answer key, recorded response, and question paper to calculate the total number of correct attempts, and eventually, the probable score.

The Situation Test/ Personal Interview (PI) are the 2nd stage of the NIFT 2026 entrance exam. Candidates were shortlisted for the Situation Test/ PI based on the NIFT 2026 written exam scores.

Note that if the candidate fails to qualify for the 2nd stage, he or she is not considered for admission to various design courses offered by the NIFTs.

The only exception is B.F.Tech program, where the merit list for admission will be prepared solely on the basis of GAT scores.

In the case of other courses, the merit list will be prepared by giving weightage to the written exams and Situation Test/ PI.

The allotment of seats for NIFT 2026 will be based on the following parameters:

• Choice opted at the time of counseling registration (academic programs + campuses)
• The category of the candidate
• Seat intake in the college opted for admission
• NIFT 2026 merit rank of the candidate.

Yes, the NTA will upload the carbon copy of the OMR answer sheet along with the answer key.

The candidate could download their OMR sheets by logging into the portal using their candidate log-in details. The carbon copy of the OMR answer sheet as the name indicates is a record of the candidates responses in the entrance exam. The OMR sheet can be used by the candidate in conjunction with the GAT answer key to check the status of the answers (correct or incorrect). Next the candidate can use the official marking scheme to calculate probable score.
