Admissions for B.Sc at JD Institute of Fashion Technology are done based on merit. The institute prepare merit based on the class 12th score of the student. The merit is prepared according to the seats intake and applications. The seats offered in B.Sc for 2024 admissions is 300. 100 seats are available in each specialization. There are three specializations of Bsc ( fashion design and garment management, interior designing, jewellery designing) which are available at this institute for the students to pursue. The FDDI AIST counseling will be conducted in June-July 2026. The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) will release the detailed counseling schedule at the time of declaration of results or sometime thereabout.
The allotment of seats for FDDI AIST 2026 will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in FDDI AIST 2026. Candidates who are ranked higher in the merit list will be given preference in the seat allotment process.

The FDDI AIST 2026 entrance exam will be conducted to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI). Popular courses include B.Des, M.Des, MBA and Fashion Merchandise, and BBA.
The allotment of seats to the above programs will be on the basis of FDDI AIST 2026 merit rank. Also, to participate in the counseling and seat allotment process, the candidate needs to have qualified in the entrance exam.

FDDI AIST 2026 entrance exam will be conducted as a paper-based exam and will be of 3 hours. The question paper will be multiple choice based. B.Des paper will include questions from topics like Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Business Aptitude Test & Design Aptitude Test.
Candidates need to follow the exam pattern when preparing for the exam. Also, make sure to stick to the official syllabus and important topics.

The last day to pay FDDI AIST counselling fee will be in July 2026. Counseling fee has to be paid at the time of seat allotment. The fee will have to be paid by candidates who have been alloted seats.

Candidates who are allotted seats for admission to the various undergraduate and postgraduate design couses through FDDI AIST 2026 have to report at the allotted campus by the given deadline.
The allotment of seats will be as per the FDDI AIST 2026 merit rank. Also, all allotted candidates need to pay the seat-confirmation fee within the given deadline.
The FDDI AIST 2026 exam will be conducted around the 2nd week of May 2026.

The application fee for the FDDI AIST 2026 exam will be category specific:
- General and OBC categories - INR 600
- SC, ST, and PwD categories - INR 300
The application fee has to be paid in online mode using net banking, credit or debit cards. Also, one needs to pay the fee applicable for their respective categories.

The Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) will release the admission schedule for the FDDI AIST 2026 entrance exam on its official admission website. As per the previous admission schedule, the FDDI AIST 2026 exam is likely to be conducted in the 2nd week of May 2026.
The mode of the exam will be computer-based.
