TDV includes Design Aptitude Test and Personal Interview. The student's are evaluated based on their creativity and problem-solving skills.

The entrance exam is held for 2 hours. It includes MCQs and descriptive questions which will evaluate the student's creative abilities, analytical skills and awareness.

There isn't one single "best" fashion design entrance exam, but the NIFT Entrance Exam is most popular in India for its top-tier institutes, followed by NID DAT, UCEED, and private exams like Pearl Academy's and TDV for broader options

SEED B.Des round 2 was conducted on March 22, 2026. It was conducted in online mode. Exam timing was one hour between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the test day. It had 60 questions.

SEED B.Des registration process for Round 2 is closed now. The last date to fill the application form was March 15, 2026, Sunday. SEED Exam 2026 for B.Des Round 2 was conducted on March 22nd, 2026, Sunday.

The application fee of TDV entrance exam is INR 1500. The registration forms are available online. TDV is accepting applications for UG and PG courses.

No, not all Fashion Design colleges in Mumbai require an entrance exam to get admission to top colleges. There are certain colleges which gives direct admission to students. Some of them are mentioned below -

Entrance exam for FDDI AIST 2026 was on May 10, 2026. The admit card was available on May 01. Exam was held at the centres in 30 cities.

Yes, top colleges such as NIFT Hyderabad definitely require an entrance, i.e., NIFT entrance exam, that checks design aptitude and creativity. Many private colleges have their own entrance tests and interviews. Smaller institutes and Diploma colleges may offer admission based only on Class 10 or 12 marks.
