Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. Which field is better is totally depends upon your area of interest. Aspirants who have cleared their Class 12 from any stream (Science/ Commerce/ Arts) can pursue a Fashion Design course at the graduation level. However, most popular Design colleges allow candidates to take part in their admission process only if they have completed their schooling from a recognised board.

Its better to go for B. Des (4 years) of duration of NIFT and NID. The NIFT and NID are the top design institutes of India and offering the various design related B. Des courses. However if you have completed 12th than can also be eligible for B.Sc. Fashion design course.
