Dear Komal, While selecting a college for pursuing a course in Fashion design, one usually looks at certain parameters viz. , faculty; connect with the industry, designers and top fashion houses; internship and placement assistance, curriculum and teaching pedagogy, overall campus activities etc. Also pursuing a degree course is always preferred (B. Des / M.Des Fashion Design) over Diploma courses. Keeping these in mind the following is a suggested list NID, IILM University Gurugram, NIFT, Pearl academy. The entrance exams for each one of these is mentioned on their website.

Hi,
Universities offer many specialisations like Product Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication etc. It totally depends on college to college or university to university where you are taking an admission and on the basis of specialisation. Basic B. Des eligibility is the completion of Class 12th with minimum of 50% in any stream or Diploma in Design.
The total course is of 4 years and it should cost you anywhere between INR 9 Lacs and INR 15 Lacs. The average fees to pursue B. Des can be between INR 10-15 Lacs in total in some private colleges like IILM University Gurugram, Amity School of Fashi

Hi
The fashion designing college should be the one which would not only teach creativity but also a wide platform and exposure to the students too should be provided so that they can show case their talent to the world. Symbiosis is a known name with best faculty even MS Twinkle khanna seems to take some of its classes. It has a good infra structure too. Pearl Academy rewards the creativity of its students through the specialised channels. Best for you would be to browse open the website of both colleges and compare it with another college like LPU, the designs of which are ruling the brands right now and check the academic excellence,

Hi,
To apply for a post graduate degree course, you are required to completed your graduation. However, many universities are open for admission and are holding their entrance tests these days. I suggest you opt for a postgraduate degree as it would definitely hold more value. Then again a M.Des Fashion Design has a lot of scope. A degree in this will open the doors to working with fashion houses or to start your own label since you come from a management background. Also choose universities that have a strong connect with the industry (e. g. IILM University, Gurugram, Pearl Academy, NID etc. ). For better internship and final placement

Hi, When we talk about the scope of a field we limit ourselves with the Word we are talking about "Fashion Design", "Graphic Design" or "Web Design". We should always explore where I can apply all the learning in every field. Each design and non-design field is connected to each other. For Example: Medicine- Chemical composition is designed by Biomedical scientists, Shape for the same is designed by a product designer and team of doctors, Sale of this medicine needs Graphic and digital medium for promotion. I will also suggest you just look at some job portals and SEE yourself there are lots of job opportunity but we don't have perfect
