Both institutes are premier in their field giving a wide platform and good infra structure. INIFD Ahmedabad a little edge as it give a wider exposure to its students. You can apply for M.Des in Fashion Design, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. There are several choices for pursuing your career in the fashion design field as M.Des Fashion Design, M.Sc. Fashion, M.A. , or Diploma courses as well but amongst all M.Des Fashion Design 2-year programme is considerably more professional and industrial specific in comparison. It carries more weightage in several areas. You can make your specialisation with Masters to choose an industry in a fashion design
