So in my opinion if you are not satisfied there than immediately plan to shift from there. The registration process of NIFT will starts in the last week of this month. Hence plan accordingly.

The eligibility criteria is given below for BDes in Knitwear Design from NIFT is given below
Eligibility : The +2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination of any recognised Central/ State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education / State Board New Delhi, and Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. Admission : Admissions are based on NIFT Entrance Exam I. e. Creative Ability Test CAT and General Ability Test (GAT), followed by a situation test to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates of the written examination.

Educational qualification for fashion designer course:
1. Fashion Designing Courses after 10th or 12th - Class 10th & 12th students appearing or waiting for result may apply.
2. Minimum age requirement of 16 years.
3. English communication skills.
4. Extensive portfolio / transcripts & resume - for professionals & students with prior learning in the design course. Personal interview along with original documents are mandatory for exemptions.
5. IELTS Score of 5.5 for English Language.
