When it comes about being worth, distance education has limitations because it is after all an option opted not by those who are all available to do the regular studies. The limitations are of Less Direct Contact and Less Practical Exposure of the filed. Still, many Institutions have come up with innovative Ideas and Tools to facilitate Better Distance Learning Experience. Hi Aatish! The major difference is, a Textile Designer creates the pattern, designs for fabric and also develops fabric. The textile designers also do embellishment of fabrics. They have to select yarn, colour for the yarn, and dyes for making new fabrics. The Fashion designers, on the other hand, use the fabric developed by the textile designer to create new designs for clothes.

The Design is a growing field and it is finding new corners and platforms outside the already established ones in the trade. Leather design is one such field that is coming up in a big way. In order to make a good career in this industry as such no professional qualification or formal education is required.
But having a formal education in this field will be always useful because the high paying jobs will be available only for the qualified people.
