Yes, there are many short-term (6 months) fashion related courses available and offered by top and medium ranked fashion institutes. This short term courses help those who are already working in fashion industry or who want to start up their small scale business. But to get a decent job you need to have at least a fashion degree or a diploma course of minimum 1 year.

Most of the colleges offering under graduate Fashion Designing courses are expensive. As they provide lot of Industry exposures to their students. Internships & Placements. But there are many smaller Institutes like Polytechnic etc. Where fee structure is less. Also if you are Graduate already - then you can go for Diploma courses or short term Fashion Courses. They are equally good.

Amity University has courses in Fashion Designing (other courses as well) where the last 2-3 semesters are conducted abroad (UK, USA mainly). But, Please keep this in Mind the Boarding / travelling expenses is all borne by the student. You get International industry exposure as well.

As per the NIFT Prospectus-2019, there is no such barrier of the percentage of marks for class 12th exam for B.Des programs. As per eligibility criteria, NIFT needs class 12th pass only. Hence, there is no need to worry about class 12th marks.
