You can check with Anna Malai University and the University of Madras. You should opt for fashion design through distance if you can attend the classes on weekends.

Hi Deeksha,
You should focus on your class 12th. After completing class 12th, you can go for any Bachelor's degree in fashion design. You will be eligible to write NIFT entrance exam.

Hi,
You can choose any stream in 12th standard. There is no compulsion of choosing arts for fashion deigning. If you have options, you can choose arts because that will help you in your further studies in fashion designing.

It has vast scope, but you must have passion for this subject.
The courses offered are mentioned below:
1. B.Sc fashion design or apparel design and fashion.
2. B.Sc textile.
3. B.Tech fashion technology.
4. B.Tech textile technology.
NIFT is the best choice for this course and after this, you can purse MBA, M.Sc or M.Tech in fashion designing.

Yes, it is one of the booming industry in India. India is also the hub for textiles. Candidates who have completed higher secondary course in any stream from a recognized board of examination are eligible to apply for Bachelor level programs. There is no minimum mark required in qualifying examination for being eligible.
Those who are more than 23 years of age at the time of application are not eligible to apply. Eligible candidates will be short listed for general ability test.
