Hi Sunetra!
You should pursue a Bachelors or Masters in fashion design first. You can apply and pursue internship at some reputed fashion house, which will help you to get an edge over others when you apply for a job. You should gain some experience as an employee with some fashion brand for about 5-8 years if you wish to work independently later. In order to work as a designer for actors and actresses, you need to work hard and exhibit your work at bigger levels. Hence I have advised you to look out for reputed fashion brands to work with. Also, read some case studies of the big brand to understand how they made it big in the industry.

Hi Sandra!
You can register online for the course on the Institute's website. After carefully scrutinizing your academic performance, you will be called for a personal interview. Clarity of purpose in pursuing B.Des in Fashion Design at Woxsen School of Arts & Design will be evaluated as evidenced by the essays and quality of references will also form the basis for final selection.

The online exam will be conducted on computers that is, you will have to answer on the system. The questions will be MCQ, that is multiple choice questions. In online mode, every question will be objective. In offline mode, you will have to give a paper pen test which can be objective or subjective or both.

The new academic year generally begins in the month of July. The course fee for interior designing varies in different colleges, but for an idea, government colleges like, NIFT or NID would charge around INR 8 Lacs for a 4-year course. The private colleges would definitely have higher fees than this. Situation test is a practical based test. It doesn't relates to your specific stream, but is conducted on a basic level for every design student no matter which stream in design he/she further wishes to choose. The situation test is all about creative, innovative ideas, which are to be shown practically with a limited time frame. The mater

Pearl academy-Noida and Jaipur both are considered the best design institutes among the list of private design colleges. Of course, pearl has a good placement cell and most of the students are recruited for jobs. Since the total fee structure is really high for even a high-middle class student, most students try to go for government colleges. But if the fee is affordable, which is like a crore or so for a 4-year graduation programme, it
