Established in 1885 by the Deccan Education Society, Fergusson College is a prestigious autonomous institution for higher education in Pune, Maharashtra. The institution has received an 'A' Grade ranking from the NAAC. With recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC), it extends undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines of Science and Arts. It offers 28 UG courses, including 15 in BA and 13 in BSc and 18 PG courses.
Affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, it also offers several vocational, certificate and special programmes. Additionally, it offers doctoral programmes in five different specialisations, including English, Botany, Environmental Science, Electronic Science and Physics.
Settled in the heart of Pune city, Fergusson College has a library building, dating back to 1929, that houses a gigantic collection of 2.5 lakh books and manuscripts.

Hii, So, you need to score more than 90% marks in 12th boards examination to have a chance for admission in Ferugusson college. Placements: The college does not reveal much detailed data regarding placements. The placement scenario is not much great in general and it depends on the course and the department. Most of the students choose to go for further studies. The Computer Science department has good placements and the top companies which visit are Infosys, Capgemini, Deloitte. Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The classrooms are spacious and are equipped with the necessary tools and technologies. The labs are great and have all the necessary tools required for experiments. The library is good and has books on a wide variety of topics. The mess food is affordable and the hostel is fairly good. Faculty: The Faculty is great here. They are up-to-date with their area of specialisation and they know the tools of their trade very well. The curriculum is good and is balanced between the theoretical and practical aspects of the subject and it matches the industry standards. Other: The college organizes an annual fest.
