Candidates are asked questions about the History of Films, Creative Aptitude, English, Current Affairs etc.

Candidates are given admission on either a merit basis or an entrance exam. The merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in a qualifying exam i.e. class 12 for the UG course and graduation for the PG course.

Candidates must have passed class 12 in any stream from a recognized board to take admission in BA Film Studies or Diploma courses in film studies/appreciation.
