Candidates are given admission on either a merit basis or an entrance exam. The merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in a qualifying exam i.e. class 12 for the UG course and graduation for the PG course.

Unlike filmmaking courses, film studies focus on the theoretical form of films. In this course, students are taught to review the story, scenes, dialogues etc. of films and understand them as an art.

You can apply after doing your Bachelors with aggregate marks more the 50%. The admission form is available in official website. You can log in after you get registered yourself. Submit the form with payment of nearly 100 Rs. And you will have to give west Bengal joint entrance exam for admission and last date for filling admission form is 23 June 2023.
