Candidates seeking admission to UG and Diploma courses should have passed at least class 12th from a recognised institute. For PG Diploma courses in Film and TV, candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Mass Media or Mass Communication or a similar discipline from a recognised college or university.

The eligibility criteria for PG Diploma at Deccan education society's institute of film and television is the student must have a Bachelor's degree from any stream. Institute may require film specific entrance test

You can pursue BDes in Film and Video Design after completing Class 12, 3-year diploma, B.Voc or any other qualification that is equivalent to Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. You could have completed Class 12 in any stream and Diploma or B.Voc with any specialisation. It is required that you should have studied in a recognised educational institute.

The eligibility for MA in Theatre and Film Production at Punjabi University includes a minimum of 50% aggregate in the Bachelor Degree (45% marks for SC/ST). The admission process is based on the "Audition Test", conducted by the department. The overall seat intake for the specialisations is 28 and lasts for two years. And MA fee is around INR 18,700 - INR 1.6 lakh.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Film, TV and Animation Studies (BVBFTS) offers over 10 full-time and part-time Diploma courses in the field of Film, Television, and Radio.
