You can easily get admission to BTech in Fire Engineering after passing Class 12 in the Science background with PCM subjects and having secured at least 50 to 60 percent aggregate marks. Several colleges and universities also offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in Class 12; however, other popular institutes consider the performance in entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, KEAM, MHT CET, etc. So, you need to work extra hard in order to get into those reputed academic institutions.

If you have completed a 3-year Diploma in Fire and Safety Engineering or a related field in the regular mode, you are eligible for lateral entry admission directly to the second year of BTech Fire and Safety Engineering or a related field. You must get at least 50% marks in your Diploma final exams and must clear the relevant entrance exam conducted every year for admission to various BTech courses.
