Overall there will be 100 questions asked in the exam from Pre and Para Clinical Subject. Out of these 100 questions around 17 questions will be based on Anatomy section. Along with it, the same 17 questions will be asked from Physiology and Biochemistry sections as well. 

Students are advised to attempt all the questions which are asked in the exam as it does not have negative marking scheme.

Given the variety of disciplines the FMGE exam covers to assess candidates' abilities, preparing for it in 30 days will undoubtedly be difficult. Nothing is impossible, though, therefore an applicant must carefully balance time and speed to keep up with the syllabus's content.

No. However, FMGE mock test will help the candidate simulate the exam day experience before the D-day. It is important to appear for the mock test so that you can understand the challenges that might take place on the exam day. It will also help you measure your time, speed and accuracy to appear for the exam.

National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases the syllabus for FMGE 2025 along with the information brochure. It is important to read and understand the FMGE syllabus in order to crack the licensing exam for Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) who have completed their primary medical qualification from a medical institution outside India, but wishes to practice in India.

No official announcement was made regarding the changes/modifications in the FMGE exam pattern for the upcoming exam cycle. In case any changes will be there, it will be updated for the aspirants. Applicants are advised to prepare for the exam as per the previous exam pattern of FMGE.

No. It is nowhere stated in the FMGE 2025 exam pattern guidelines that a candidates needs to qualify in both the sections to be eligible to clear the exam.  Both these papers are conducted for a total of 300 marks and students are advised to secure a total of 150 marks out of them.

No, there shall be NO negative marking for the incorrect answers in FMGE 2025 exam. The FMGE exam promotes candidates to attempt as many question as they can to enhance their probability to score high. A total of 300 questions will be asked in the exam. The exam will be held in English language only.

FMGE 2025 question paper will be of 300 marks. There will be 300 questions in the examination, each question will have a weightage of 1 mark. To attempt each section, 2 hour and 30 minutes will be allotted.  The question paper will be divided into two parts, comprising 150 questions each.

No, it is not mandatory to solve all the questions as per the FMGE exam pattern 2025. However, because there is no negative marking in the examination, candidates are advised to solve as many questions as possible. No marks will be deducted if candidates leave questions unattempted.

No. The FMGE 2025 exam pattern clearly states that the question paper will only have multiple choice/objective types questions. There will be 300 questions for which 5 hours will be allotted to the candidates. Each question will have a weightage of 1 mark. There will be NO negative marking in the exam.
