Applicants must log onto the official website of the Institute of Hotel Management, Kolkata-ihmkolkata.org- to apply for entry into the Diploma in Food Production. Look for the admissions section there to get access to an application form as well as instructions in detail.

Still there is No clear information about the cutoff. But, the elligility criteria is, you must have passed the 10th grade or S.S.C. or equivalent from a recognized board. You must also have English as one of the subjects in the final school examination. The maximum age for the course is 25 years for General category and 28 years for SC/ST category.

- Duration: 1.5 years (1 year of study at the institute followed by 6 months of industrial training in a hotel or relevant sector).
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have a pass certificate from the 10+2 examination or equivalent (Senior Secondary).
- Age Limit:
- Maximum age of 25 years for General/OBC/PWD categories.
- Maximum age of 28 years for SC/ST categories.
- The age is calculated as of the last date for submitting the application.
