Candidates must have passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination of the CBSE board or any other equivalent examination of a recognised State or National board with PCM/ PCMB background, with at least 50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), EWS categories and 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, PwD categories.

TISL and Jadavpur University are among the colleges and universities to give the highest no. of placements for food technology. You can also try CFTRI, Mysore, and ICT, Mumbai, the two best institutes for studying food technology in India that do not provide placement as such but a degree from such a reputed institute does ensure a great career ahead.
