The initiation of the Placement process was started with the conduction of placement workshop in which the final year Food Tech. Students actively participated. Following the results placements workshop, college students participated in Campus Recruitment Sessions in some Food Processing and IT sectors. A placement package of Rs. 2.1 to 3.5 Lacs / annum was offered by companies :
Taurus Foods, Greater Noida;
Kohinoor Foods (P) Ltd. , Modi Flour Mills, Delhi;
Part G Biscuits (P) Ltd. , Rudarpur;
Easy Life Seasonings, Noida and Surya Fresh (P) Ltd. , Noida, amongst others. Around 55% of academics are needed to get admission at Amity University. The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA, and the average salary package offered is around 4-5 LPA. Almost 58-60% of the students get internships. UAS Dharwad offers admissions at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. B.Sc Agriculture Hons., M.Sc Agricultural Economics, Master of Home Science in Human Development and Family Studies, M.B.A. Agribusiness Management, Ph.D Agricultural Entomology etc. are some of the courses offered by the university. UAS Dharwad admissions to undergraduate courses are offered on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination or by the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority or by ICAR. UAS Dharwad admissions to postgraduate courses is based on merit of the qualifying examination and a written test with 50% weightage to each. UAS Dharwad admissions are only offered to those students who have appeared in the counselling round, got their documents verified and paid the admission fees.
