B.Sc. (Hons. ). Food Technology is of duration : 3 years. (6 semesters) The eligibility is a pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Biotechnology or Food Processing as vocational subject) or equivalent. So you are eligible for this course but we careful to choose a college with care. Browse some other equally good colleges which would give you more than scholarship, that is, check the academics of the college, as well as infrastructure, exposure, seminars, projects, etc. So that you get the best. You must have 12th in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Home Science and minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by a university/ college (usually 50% - 60%). Maths is not compulsory for you because there are some university who offers B.Tech in food tech for PCB students also.

The B.Tech in Food Technology admission in asked College are done through the TNEA counseling conducted by Anna University. The basic eligibility criteria is 10+2 with a minimum of 50% of marks with PCM. The admission is based on marks obtained in class 12th.
