There is no comparison between these two courses as both the courses are way too different from each other. Food Technology is a field which depends on Chemistry biotechnology, nutrition, processing, production, preservation, analysis and research of the food and food products which all comes under food Science. Whereas Fashion Design is that Branch of Design which is the art of designing and creating clothings and accessories where designers work on starting from it's raw design, then coming to the illustrations to the making of final outfits.

This is perhaps because you have forgotten to mention the name of the place where this college is located. In the options of this information it's very tough to answer your query since there are plenty of colleges across India with similar sounding names. However genericically speaking I can state that for the BTech in food technology the college will not what happens prescribe any cut off since the number of students who see admission in this particular branch or not too many compare with number of seats available on offer for admissi

Hello Manjunathan, food technology is definitely a branch that is going to go great guns in near future as well as in the long run. Unfortunately you have not mention the name of any college about which you are interested in information about cutoffs. What this means is that any student who has obtained minimum required marks and who has met the criteria of admission can apply respective of the ranking or the percentile that he has or she has

Cut off marks all ranks are declared by an institution and this indicates that anyone who is having equal to or more than this can only apply in this college. This normally happens when such institution receives too many applications as compared with their capacity to admit. On the other hand closing ranks are those ranks at which the admissions closed in the previous year meaning students with that ranking or marks got admission. As a student you can check this part yourself. For this you need to download the college predictor of Shiksha and using this predic
