No, GRE scores are not required of overseas graduate applicants at Fordham University. However, students with poor GPAs are more likely to have their GRE/GMAT scores accepted by the university. A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or its equivalent, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4-point scale, and the completion of the required paperwork—transcripts, an essay, a letter of recommendation, a statement of purpose, a resume, and proficiency in English—are further requirements for basic eligibility.

According to the class profile of 2028, the average cumulative academic GPA scored by the student was 3.64, which means students willing to take Fordham admission must aim to score a GPA of at least 3.5 or above. In addition, the students also prefer to submit standardized test scores even if the university provides test options. The minimum SAT score required is between 1340 and 1473, whereas the ACT score range is between 30 and 33. International students must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria and submit English language proficiency scores.
