Merit in the last qualifying examination taken by the candidates is the basic eligibility for all the courses at the Dr. Y. S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry. The final selection of candidates is done as per the university norms, i.e. based on merit, entrance exam scores, or nomination.The eligibility criteria for B. Sc. ( Hons) is that a candidate must pass class 12 in Science stream from a recognised school and the entrance score accepted is ICAR - AIEEA(UG). Given below is the basic seat reservation system across various courses:
Normal seats are reserved for HP domicile (25% of the total seats filled by ICAR)
