College life is the best for my future in Agriculture.
Placements: Around 114 students get placed in our college. The highest salary package is offered in Entomology, Pathology, and Soil Science. Biofertilizer companies offer placements in our college, but internships are provided in our course. Agri entrepreneurs hire students. Most students start as entrepreneurs.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like a library, labs, and classrooms. Wi-Fi connection is provided this year. Every subject has unique labs. There is an average canteen but a medium mess. Hostel facilities are provided outside the campus. The DSAC team is good at sports and games. Many intercultural sports meets are conducted in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are the best and most qualified. Teaching quality is better. The course curriculum is more relevant. Semester exams are a little difficult. The pass percentage is 60%. It is easy for average students to score high marks. Different types of exam methods are followed.
Other: Campus is mostly crowded because of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University.

College life is the best in my life.
Placements: Placements are good. The highest salary offered is Rs 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Rasi Sees and Fertilizer Company. Top roles offered are extension work, agriculture officer, and other work like farming techniques.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is excellent in our college. Free Wi-Fi is available in our hostels. Laboratory is well-equipped. Library has agriculture books, magazines, and newspapers. The food quality is very good. Sports are conducted, and extracurricular sports activities are also organised.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified in both practical and theoretical classes. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are averagely difficult. The pass marks are 60 out of 100.
Other: I am from an agricultural family so I wanted to know more about farming and the marketing of agriculture. Events like sports events, exhibitions, and 1st graduate scholarships are organised. Extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS are also conducted. This college is very good. I would recommend students to join this college.

My point of view about my college.
Placements: Though it is an agricultural course, there is no placement in our college. So, students can go for government jobs. But, we have placements for the Agri-Business Management degree, where they can earn Rs.40,000 to Rs.50,000 as an initial package. Other than this, I couldn't find any placements in our college.
Infrastructure: Our department is the largest department, and it has more labs. We have a library, and classrooms are provided with smart boards, speakers, mics, etc. We have Wi-Fi connections both on campus and in the hostel. The hostel facility is somewhat moderate, we face some water and drainage issues. The mess is large, but the food is not much nice.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very talented, and the teaching quality is okay. The course curriculum is wide and interesting. We can learn things from a practical aspect. The semester exams are more difficult due to the broad curriculum. The pass percentage is 60%, so we can pass easily because we have mid-semester exams, practicals, and the main exam, so we can easily score 60%.
Other: I chose the course because I like agriculture so much. The best thing about this course is that we can be involved in food production, which makes us feel proud. I think they should improve the teaching methods of the staff. There are lots of events in our college, such as Sangamithira 2 days, Muthamizh Vizha 2 days, inaugurations, New Year celebrations, Pongal celebrations, departmental functions, valedictory events, sports days, and ICT events.

About college days of my life.
Placements: 80% of students get placed. The initial salary that will be provided by the companies will be Rs 25,000/-. Fertilizer companies will be recruiting. 50% of students get internships but it is based on their own interest. Students after completion of the course are eligible to set up fertilizer shops, mushroom production units, and are eligible to crack various competitive exams.
Infrastructure: There are laboratories for every single course and a vast land area for the field classes with a plantation. The hostel is located near the college which is within walking distance. The food is good, and other facilities will be very neat. Hostel rooms will be provided with 24 hour Wi-Fi, and there will be no need to step out. Everything will be provided within the hostel campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly professional and completely friendly. It makes the students industry-ready. If the topics are learnt conceptually, it is very easy to clear the exams. The pass percentage is 60% which means you have to score 60 out of 100 together in the final and mid-semester exam.
Other: Agriculture is a basic need so I chose this course. There will be a lot of cultural events and club inaugurations every year.

Agriculture is the future of the world.
Placements: Around 75% of students were placed, with packages ranging between 3 LPA and 7 LPA, averaging 4 LPA. Recruiters included NABARD, Amul, Coromandel, and ITC. Nearly 65% got internships in reputed agri-based firms, taking up roles like agronomist, research assistant, and field officer.
Infrastructure: The campus has good Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, smartboards with a projector and slide change, and a library with wide resources. Hostels are clean with adequate facilities, food in mess is hygienic though simple, medical care is available, and sports facilities support both indoor and outdoor activities.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced, supportive, and focus on both theory and practical knowledge, making learning effective. The curriculum is industry-oriented and prepares students for agri-based careers. Exams are moderately tough but fair, with a pass percentage of around 60%.
Other: Scholarships are provided by the government. Campus surrounding area is covered with agricultural land.

Good environment with a strict college-like school.
Placements: As far as I know, only 2 have been placed in a sugar factory, and the package is around 10-12 LPA. The company's name is Parrys Sugar. They have been trying to get more companies, but mostly students join themselves in a company related to the agriculture sector.
Infrastructure: Strict college, mostly like school, and staff are better mostly. The infrastructure is nice and peaceful, only for study-attached students. The wardens are friendly, and we need to submit phones for 2 hours/day except Sunday, weekends, and holidays. The Wi-Fi is a bit okay.
Faculty: The faculty is excellent, except for one or two. The pass percentage is a bit above average, and mostly, arrears are of one subject or less. The labs have most of the equipment needed for experiments, and the teachers prepare before teaching. The curriculum is easy.
Other: The environment is great and peaceful with a cool climate, and there are more activities that you can join. The only problem is that phones must be submitted for 2 hours daily, except weekends and leave.
