- The candidate must submit an abstract of about 3000-5000 words on the area of research interest (tentative research proposal) along with his/her application.
- CAT/MAT/GMAT/CMAT/UGC NETScore

Candidates who have completed BE/BTech degree or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after completing higher secondary education can apply for FPM. Candidates are also required to pass Class 12 or any equivalent examinations. Two years of relevant work experience is also compulsory for admission to the FPM course at XLRI.

IMT Ghaziabad FPM admission is based on merit in the accepted exams. The institute shortlist applicants based on their score in CAT/GMAT/GRE/UGC-NET.
