Cut off for B.A. is quite higher compare to B.Sc. You should get above 90% to secure seat in FC. If you are in open category, these cut off gets down to 80% for reserved category. It also depends upon you want to take admission in grant or non-grant. So, study hard and all the best.

The salary will vary depending on the job profile. Like for example, a Technical Translator may get a salary ranging from INR. 2 to 5 lakhs, Business Analyst is INR. 2.5 lakhs to INR. 8 lakhs, French Teacher 2 to INR. 7.5 lakhs.
It also depends on market trends.

Generally, you will need to pass advance levels of language study yourself first. This will enable you to get a degree or a certification. You may enroll yourself in a leading language training institute which offers a thorough language training followed up internship or a placement offer. That way, you will have a qualified start for teaching the language.

Arts faculty is best for pursuing any language course. But after that, I would say Hansraj is good too.
