Yes, you can get into Ganga Institute of Education M.Ed if you have secured 70% in B.Ed or other UG courses. The institute accepts students based on academic merit and has clearly specified the minimum eligibility requirements. Students need to have completed a UG degree + B.Ed or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (47.5% for reserved categories). Hence, yes, 70% is certainly an acceptable aggregate.

Ganga Institute of Education B.Ed eligibility criteria require candidates to complete the last qualifying examination from a recognised university. Admissions to the programme are purely merit-based. One must fulfil any of the following criteria to get into the B.Ed course at Ganga Institute of Education:

  • Students who have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/Humanities/ BBA/ MBA with a minimum aggregate of 50% ( 47.5% for reserved categories)
  • B.E/ BTech with specialisation in Science and Mathematics/ BCA/ MCA with a minimum aggregate of 55% (52.5% for reserved categories)
