The score needed for admission would depend on the category, chosen specialisation, and round you are applying to. The IIT Dhanbad GATE cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for various MTech course specialisations.

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 456 to 762. As per this range, M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest branch for admission. Students can check the table below to know the first round cutoff for all other branches. The cutoff for other rounds and categories will vary.

The IIT Dhanbad GATE cutoff 2026 ranged from 456 to 762 in the first round for the General AI category.

The IIT Dhanbad cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the M.Tech course and its various specialisations in the form of scores. The cutoff was out for different All India quota categories, like General, OBC, SC, etc. Students who want admission at IIT Dhanbad have to give the GATE exam and then appear for the counselling process. If you belong to the ST AI or SC AI category and have a score of 3000 in GATE CCMT, you could get admission at NIT Agartala in the first round.  

For the ST AI category, the NIT Agartala GATE CCMT cutoff 2026 for Round 1 ranged between 251 and 334. See below to know which specialisations are available with a score of 300.

This year, 10,11,719 candidates registered for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, and 797434 candidates appeared for the GATE. The number of qualified students list will be available once statistical report is released.

Yes, IIT Guwahati released GATE 2026 qualifying cutoff marks for all subjects on March 28. Candidates can check passing mark of respective papers now.

In GATE, normalisation process generally makes a gap of 4 to 7 marks (approximately) between actual and normalised scores. However, if difficulty level of paper was high then the marks might increase. On other hand, for easier paper, marks may reduce offering fairness across sessions.
