The admissions in College of Engineering Roorkee are done through counseling and seat allotment procedure of all the GATE qualified applicants. The applicants who have not qualified GATE will have to appear for the College entrance Test/Counselling. Apart from the Gate criteria, the Candidates who have qualified UKSEE examination on merit basis and have passed B.Sc. examination with Mathematics as one of the subject and securing minimum 60% marks in Diploma in Engineering or Equivalent Examination, only are eligible for direct admission in second year.

No, a qualifying exam doesn't ensure admission to a particular institute. For admission to a certain institute, candidates have to score above the qualifying cutoff and appear for the counselling and admission process. The GATE cutoff for IIT varies according to the category of the candidates. It is to be noted that admission to IIT is based on factors including the cutoffs of the institute and branch in which admission is desired. Therefore, we can say that there is no minimum GATE score for IIT. The Indian Institutes of Technology Kanpur released the GATE 2023 cutoff for all 29 papers along with the GATE 2023 result. Yes, candidates will be able to download their scorecards for GATE 2025 from March 28 to May 31, 2025. After May 31, candidates will need to pay a fee of INR 500 to download their admit card till December 31, 2025. After December 31, students will not be allowed to download their GATE 2025 scorecard.
