For the second paper, combinations include CE, ME, XE, CG, BT, IN, BM, XL, AE, AG, AR, ES, GE, NM, XE, PE, DA, EC, and more.In the GATE Second Paper Concept, the primary paper is related to the applicant's undergraduate engineering disciplines, while the secondary paper allows applicants to apply their knowledge in a related field. For instance, if an aspirant has graduated in electrical engineering, this becomes their primary paper. You can take two GATE Papers in a year but it is important to refer to the official GATE 2025 two paper combination list to select a secondary paper preference.
