GATE exam scores are very important for admission to the M.Tech in GIS and Remote Sensing course at top colleges like NIT Warangal & MNNIT Allahabad. There is high competition with multiple students like you giving the exam to get admission to an M.Tech specialisation of their choice.

Other colleges also accept GATE exam scores or may conduct their own university level exams for giving admission. You can have a look at the college websites to have better clarity on the individual admission requirements for M.Tech in GIS course.

If you belong to the General AI category, with your score of 600, you can easily get admission to IIIT Vadodara DIU Campus. The last round closing score was 415, and your score of 600 is better than the cutoff score. If you belong to the OBC AI quota or SC AI quota, then also your chances of admission are good, as both their last round cutoff scores are 360 and 270, respectively. Please note that other categories will have different cutoff scores, and just qualifying for the cutoff does not guarantee a seat  at the University.
