Yes, you can take admission into M-tech course without GATE score card. You can take admission in state technical university affiliated colleges by appearing for an entrance exam conducted every year by respective state university/colleges.
Most colleges have a provision for management quota. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

For GATE, while in college go for various test series that would help you with the current pattern and types of questioned asked, else a drop a year with rigorous study in any leading institute may also be considered.
For test series opt for:
1. Targare.
2. Madeeasy, etc.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and Seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
