If you want to be geneticist, you can apply for Exams conducted by Punjab University, Delhi University, IITs as they provide many courses such as B.Sc. B.Tech in genetics or genomics. It is not necessary to sit for NEET exam rather you can go for these courses and further carry your Masters in the same field if you want to become geneticist. For the same you should start surfing Internet and look for more opportunities if you really wish to be geneticist and act wisely. Good luck.

Yes, you are eligible for taking that course but your subjects should be based on chemistry, biochemistry, and zoology, etc. based on B.Sc sciences only. And, your minimum Percentage should be 60.
