You can do Bachelors in any one of the mentioned above. Admission is based on the marks scored in class 12th and there is no entrance test required.

5. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
B.Sc. In Genetics: Admission Process
Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance at the 10+2 level. A few institutes however, shortlist students based on their performance in an additional entrance test conducted at their own level.

Entrance exam for genetic does not mean they will only ask questions from genetics, you need to prepare Biochem, Microbiology, genetics, etc.

I don't think so that the college grants admission in the mid-session. For getting admission in this course, you need to have mandatory subjects: Biology, Chemistry in class 12th.

There are around 46 BSc Genetics colleges in India and the fee structure of each college varies depending on their course curriculum, infrastructure, extra activities, placement opportunities, etc. The average course fee ranges between INR INR 24,000 to INR 40 Lakh.
