If you are a graduate then you can apply for MA Geography. Some colleges may give you preference if you have completed BA or BSc Geography. Most colleges give admission on the basis of entrance exams. If you are applying trough CUET PG then you should be a graduate with a minimum 50% aggregate marks. But if you are applying through other state level or university level exams then do check if they have any other eligibility requirements to apply.

It's recommended to visit the official university website or get in touch with the admissions office directly for the most up-to-date information regarding the deadlines for Punjab University's M.A. in geography. Every year, the number of candidates, their academic standing, and the number of seats available can affect the cutoffs. Furthermore, institution application materials and announcements frequently provide the most recent cutoff information. You can get the most accurate and up-to-date information by following university announcements or admissions portals.

M.Sc Geography and M.Sc Botany at Rani Channamma University, M.Sc Geography generally has better placement opportunities. Geography grads often find roles in urban planning, environmental consultancy, and GIS, which are in high demand. M.Sc Botany might have fewer direct job options, focusing more on research and academia. Check the university’s placement records for specifics.
