NYU Law does rank slightly higher than Georgetown Law in Shiksha's the latest Global Law School Rankings.
While Georgetown ranks #12, NYU ranks #4 for its law programs. But, both institutions maintain excellent reputation in the law domain. The curriculum of the JD programme at NYU Law is a bit more flexible with students getting more individual opportunities in international affairs, law & public policy.

The institute doesn't have a numerical GPA cut-off for admission to its courses. It is the same for GMAT & GRE scores. However, based on information collected from Shiksha Student Reviews, interested candidates are recommended to secure excellent grades in past studies to have a chance of securing admission at the institution with its acceptance rate being only 13%.

Though it is considered one of the best & prestigious law institutions in the US, studies at Georgetown are not cheap. Interested candidates must financially plan well ahead of beginning studies at the institution. The tuition fee for an LL.M course is around INR 71.57 L.
Students must also consider some other living costs such as rental, transportation, insurance, food, books, etc. The estimated cost of living at Georgetown is around INR 10.5 L, with hostel & food costs being around INR 4.2 L.
Note that the above mentioned figures are only estimated ones, actual costs may vary depending on the standard of living.

As per data curated from unofficial sources, the Georgetown Law acceptance rate stands at around 13%. This suggests the institute is very selective at admitting students to its law courses.
