Yes, to apply for UG and PG courses at Georgia State University, international students are required to pay an application fee. Take a look at the GSU application fee given below - 

  • Undergraduate: USD 60 or INR 4.4K
  • Postgraduate: USD 50 or INR 5.3K

The students can pay for the same using an international debit or credit card or via wire transfer as well.

Full-time on-campus MS in Computer Science Approx. USD 32,000 to USD 33,500/year (approximately 31 to 32 credits). 

This is just tuition fees of a standard 2-year course ≈ USD 64k-67k total (≈ 56k-60 L+ at current rates).

Associate degree programs are the most affordable courses one can pursue at Georgia State. These can be completed both online and offline, and usually have a duration of around 2 years. The average cost of these courses is around INR 9.75 Lakhs per year for 2026. This covers both tuition and fees.

Health Insurance and Living costs mean the overall cost of an associate programme at GSU is around INR 26.5 Lakhs per year.

Yes, students can waive off paying the GSU University application fee, provided they meet the conditions given below:

  • Are a GSU-62 student and registered during the late registration window OR
  • Are a dual enrolled student with funding for studies approved by the GSU OR
  • Enrolled in one of the Film Academy Courses OR
  • Only enrolled in courses offered under an agreement between the university and an external organization

It can be considered moderately expensive to study at. The tuition costs range somewhere between INR 23.6 Lakhs and INR 50 Lakhs per year, across the UG and PG levels of study, depening on the course one applies to. This is much more affordable compared to the more popular places like MIT, Yale, and Harvard. Here, the tuition costs can go upto INR 1 Cr.

The tuition fee for Georgia residents, non-Georgia residents, i.e., international students may vary since GSU is a public university. The tuition fee for MS in Information Systems is $47,000 per year. The tuition fee is subject to change. MS in Information Systems is available in a full-time and part-time format. The full-time format is 12 months long course divided into 3 semesters

We have provided an estimated tuition fee for MS in computer sciences at GSU. The estimated tuition fee for Indian students for MS in CS will be around INR 25 L per year. This is an estimated tuition fee and it should be considered just to get an idea of the expected tuition fee. The MS computer Science programme at GSU focuses intensively on the technical aspects of software and hardware related to computer science, data science, cyber-security and other topics.
