If your course requires you to study in Germany for more than 90 days as a student then you are required to get a residence permit in Germany. The resident visa is your typical student visa in Germany. The German student visa will cost you anywhere around EUR 75. However, the visa processing time could take up to 25 days given that all the documents submitted are in order.
