Admission to the BTech programme is done on the basis of in house exam of GITAIM School of Technology known as GITAM GAT. As of now, GITAM School of Technology only accepts GITAM GAT for the BTech programme, as mentioned on their official website. To be eligible for the BTech programme the aspiring candidates also need to have 60% in graduation.

Yes, Candiates can secure admission to the programmes provided by GITAM School of Technology Visakhapatnam with 60 percent in class 12. The aspirng candidates must achieve minimum of 60% in class 12 to qualify in the BTech programme. In the case of the MTech programme at GITAM the candidates require 50 percent graduation.

To be eligible to pursue MCA at GITAM, applicants are required to have scored at least 50% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering. A relaxation of 5% in the eligibility requirement is given to the candidates belonging to the resereved categories. Hence, candidates belonging to reserved categories with a minimum of 45% in BCA/bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering are eligible to apply for the programme. To be eligible to pursue MSc at GITAM, applicants are required to have scored at least 50% in bachelor's degree in relevant discipline. Hence, candidates scoring less than 60%, but over 50% are eligible to apply for the programme. MSc admission at GITAM are entrance-based. The seats are allotted to the candidates with a valid score in the accepted entrance exam.
